Questions tutors ask
Does an AI coach replace the tutor?
No. It covers the practice between your sessions: the AI coach drills the skills you picked, and you spend session time on the problems that need a person. There are no live classes and no human tutoring on TestDayPass.
What do I see, and what don't I see?
You see progress and skills: last active day, estimated range, top leak, focus skills and your session briefs. You never see a student's chats with the AI coach or their parent's contact details, and a parent can remove you from their teen's account at any time.
How do my students start?
You send your tutor invite link or its QR. Each student starts with the free Point Leak Report, which becomes their Starting Point, then accepts your invite and waits for you to approve them in your coach view. You see their results once you approve.
What if my invite link gets shared around?
Nobody gets anything through it until you approve them. A student who joins is pending: they can use the free tier, but they share nothing with you and don't count toward Tutor Free's 3 until you approve them. A pending invite expires after 14 days, and we remind you on day 7.
How do I show parents tutoring is working?
Every Sunday, parents get an email in your name: what their teen practiced and how each focus skill moved since their Starting Point, with an optional one-line note from you. You approve the first ones before they go out.
What does Tutor Free include, and what does Tutor Pro add?
Tutor Free costs $0: up to 3 approved students, the coach view, session briefs and the Sunday parent email in your name. Tutor Pro is $199 per season (6 months) for unlimited linked students, with a full refund within 14 days of purchase, even after students are linked.
How does the tutor link work?
Parents can buy the $49 Test Day Pass through your tutor link, and you earn $15 per pass, paid out monthly.
How do you measure progress?
Each student's free report becomes their Starting Point. A 10-question Checkpoint every 2 weeks, under the same conditions, shows change on each leak, and it feeds your session brief.
Who can use it?
Students 13 and up preparing for the digital SAT, and the tutors who work with them.
Is there an app to download?
TestDayPass is a web app. There's no App Store or Google Play app, and we don't plan one for launch. Open it in your phone's browser.
